Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Medical Step-Down unit requiring at least 1 year of intermediate care experience and an active NJ or compact RN license.
Details
- Medical Step-Down unit in a hospital setting
- PM shift, 7p-7a, 36 hours per week over 3 days
- Works every 3rd weekend
- Floating as needed, including to a sister hospital nearby
- No on-call requirements
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- Active NJ or compact RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- At least 1 year of Intermediate Care/Step-Down experience as an RN
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Excellent communication and computer skills
Additional Information
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Collaborate with the healthcare team through a Shared Governance model to promote evidence-based, patient-centered care

- Local candidates accepted at a different pay rate
