Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience and night shift availability.

Details

Emergency Department within a newly expanded and remodeled hospital setting
Treats all general population patients, including pediatrics
Average volume of 70 patients per day
Uses Meditech for EMAR and Pyxis for medication dispensing
Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 19:00-07:00
36 or 48 hours per week

Requirements

Active RN license (VT or Compact) currently in hand
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
TNCC certification preferred
Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required

Additional Information

Provide emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population including pediatric cases
Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility
