Description

American Traveler is hiring a day-shift Occupational Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in a critical access hospital, requiring 1-2 years of experience.

Details

25-bed critical access hospital treating both inpatient and outpatient populations
Services provided across Swing Bed, ICU, and Med/Surg units
Patient population includes orthopedic and cardiac cath lab cases
Level IV trauma ER
Day shift schedule from 08:00-17:00
Weekend and holiday coverage required per department needs

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
Current state Occupational Therapy certification/license required if applicable
National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) credential required, AOTA and OTAC preferred
Minimum 1-2 years of experience required
Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
Workplace Violence Prevention training (DCI/BVP) required

Additional Information

Facility treats COVID-positive patients
Scrubs required, no specific color mandated
Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel positions
