Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift contract requiring 2 years of LDR, recovery, and postpartum experience.

Details

• Labor/Delivery unit in a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage as needed
• No floating required
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active IL RN license
• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience in LDR, recovery, and postpartum care
• Nursery and baby catcher experience helpful but not required
• New graduates will not be considered
• EPIC experience required and must be reflected in employment history
• Two current supervisor/manager/charge references from the applicable unit within the last year

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care for laboring, recovery, and postpartum patients
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Returning permanent or per diem staff must be separated from the facility for 12 months before being eligible as a traveler
• RTO limited to a maximum of 3 days for this 6-week contract
• Candidates in CVICU, Telemetry, or Emergency Room specialties at this facility must complete an EKG test with a score of 80% or higher prior to consideration, and pass a pass/fail on-site EKG test on Day 1 of orientation
