Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Medical/Surgical night shift position requiring an active IL RN license and at least 2 years of recent experience.

Details

Medical/Surgical unit in a hospital setting
Night shift, 12-hour shifts starting at 19:00
Every other weekend required
Floating to all Med/Surg units required
Holiday coverage as needed
No on-call requirements

Requirements

Active IL Registered Nurse (RN) license required
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of experience required, 3+ years preferred
EPIC EMR experience required and must be noted in employment history
Two current professional references from a Supervisor/Manager/Charge in the relevant area within the last year required for consideration

Additional Information

Local candidates accepted at the same rate
Returning permanent or per diem staff must be away for 12 months before being eligible to return as a traveler
RTO limited based on contract length
