Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring craniotomy and retina surgical experience and call responsibilities.

Details

• Work in the Surgery/Operating Room unit of a hospital environment
• Required skills include craniotomy and retina procedures
• Day/evening shift schedule with 4x10-hour shifts, 0630-1700
• 40 hours per week
• On-call responsibilities required
• Required to float as a sitter and may float in rotation

Requirements

• Active WA State or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC
• Craniotomy and retina surgical experience required

• Coordinate and provide high-quality patient care using unit-specific standards of practice
• Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments
• Document assessments, care plans, interventions, and patient responses accurately
• Delegate appropriately and oversee care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel
• Collaborate and communicate with all members of the healthcare team
• Maintain a clean and safe environment according to hospital and unit policies
