Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ED RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring a CA RN license and multiple specialty certifications.
Details
- Acute care hospital with 200 staffed beds
- Emergency Department setting with 1:4 patient ratios
- Variable shift start times including day shift (10:00-22:00) and night shift (1500 or 1900 start), 3x12 hour shifts
- Required to work every other weekend
- No on-call responsibilities
- No floating required between units
- Uses Epic charting system
Requirements
- Active CA RN license (Compact license must be in hand at time of submission)
- Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC
- Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience required
- Neurological skills and ICP monitoring experience preferred
- Triage skills required
- Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required
Additional Information
- Provide emergency department nursing care including triage and patient monitoring
- Scrub color requirement: Solid Royal Blue for RNs

- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Local candidates accepted at standard bill rate
- Local radius rule of 50 miles applies
- Former permanent employees may return after a 3-month waiting period, provided they reside outside the 50-mile radius
- All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submission
