Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Telemetry/IMC float pool position requiring recent Epic experience and 2+ years of IMC and telemetry experience.

Details

Float pool position working Med/Surg Telemetry and IMC units
Floats from MS units to IMC units as needed
Patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:6
Day shift schedule, 4x12 hours from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
Cares for patients with acute respiratory distress, septic shock, hypertensive crisis, severe congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, and trauma

Requirements

Active RN license (MD or Compact) currently in hand
Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience in a hospital setting required
Minimum 2 years of IMC unit experience in a hospital setting required
Recent Epic EMR experience required
Flu shot required
2-step PPD required with no exceptions

First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
