Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Outpatient setting requiring 1+ year of outpatient PT experience and BLS certification.

Details

Outpatient PT setting with occasional acute care coverage in the hospital when outpatient volume is low
Treats patients with orthopedic, neurologic, and cardiac diagnoses
Patient conditions include cervicalgia, low back pain, post-op cervical/shoulder/spinal surgery, total hip and knee replacement, cognitive disorders, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson's disease, post-stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury
Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
No weekends required

Requirements

State license required if applicable
BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of outpatient PT experience required
Skilled in assessment and body mechanics
Experience with home exercise program development and patient/family education
Prior travel experience required

Additional Information

Responsibilities include outpatient treatment with occasional acute care support when needed
Focus on orthopedic aftercare and generalized weakness management
Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are considered local
