Description

American Traveler is hiring a Critical Care Step Down RN for a 12-week night shift assignment requiring 2+ years of CCSD experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Critical Care Step Down unit with 12 beds
• Night shift schedule, 3x12's (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• May be placed on call during low census periods
• Floating required
• Uses Epic EMR system

Requirements

• Active RN license - VA State License or Compact required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA only
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of assignment start
• 2+ years of Critical Care Step Down experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• No employment gaps of 90+ days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Hospital recently invested nearly $100 million in a new facility with 36 private patient rooms, 18 ED beds, operating rooms, and a Cath Lab
• Navy blue scrubs required per facility dress code policy
• Must reside outside a 65-mile radius of the facility - local candidates not accepted
