Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift travel assignment requiring 2+ years of experience and proficiency in diagnostic CT imaging, angiography, and biopsy procedures.
Details
- 13-week travel assignment for a 24/7 department
- 36 hours per week with night shift from 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM
- Schedule may include overnight or day/evening hours with flexibility required for weekend coverage
- Possibility to float up to 25 miles between facilities as needed
- Uses Epic EMR
- Siemens equipment experience preferred
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
- License required if applicable
- Proficiency in all diagnostic CT imaging including angiography and biopsy procedures required
- Must also have experience and ability to perform diagnostic x-ray
- Ability to work independently required
- Driver's license required for consideration
- 2 professional references required
Additional Information
- Perform diagnostic CT imaging, angiography, biopsy procedures, and diagnostic x-ray
- Located near the coast with access to walking trails and nearby ski resorts
- Local candidates within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are not eligible for renewals or extensions
- RTO should be kept to a minimum, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for the 13-week contract
- Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this during consideration

This hospital is hands down the least toxic hospital I have ever had the privilege of working. I absolutely love the people I work with. Everyone I come into contact with likes what they do and they do it with passion. It’s not perfect by any means, but it’s close.
Cons
It’s a smaller hospital, so there’s a lot of critical care devices (CRRT, ECMO, etc) to work with like level 1 trauma centers have.
