Description
American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a night shift contract requiring an active IL RN license and a minimum of 3 years of telemetry experience.
Details
- Telemetry unit in a hospital setting located in Naperville, IL
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend required
- First to float among staff
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active IL Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Minimum 3 years of telemetry nursing experience required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- EPIC EMR experience required and must be noted in employment history
- Two current professional references required from a Supervisor, Manager, or Charge nurse in the relevant specialty within the last year
- A travel reference is preferred
Additional Information
- Must work Thanksgiving Day and the Saturday following Thanksgiving
- Orientation includes 24 hours total, with 12 hours non-billable across two 12-hour shifts
- Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
- Returning permanent or per diem staff must have been away for 12 months before being submitted as a traveler
- RTO is limited to a maximum of 3 days for 8-week contracts and 7 days for 13-week contracts
- Candidates will have a brief hospital interview, typically 10-15 minutes
