Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an active MA RN license and ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications.
Details
- Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
- Provides care to patients across all age groups including pre-natal, neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
- Triages patients according to acuity and provides ongoing assessment, immediate interventions, and discharge teaching
- Mid-shift schedule from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM
- 36 or 48 hours per week on a 13-week assignment
- Every other weekend required
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required (no pending or conditional licenses accepted)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- CPI or MOAB certification required
- AHA certification preferred for BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- License and certification verification required within 30 days of start, with updates upon expiration
Additional Information
- Interact effectively with patients across a range of intellectual and physical abilities
- Available to cover at least one holiday
- Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
- Local candidates within 60 miles of Boston are accepted at a reduced rate
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
