Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2 years of ER experience and TNCC certification.

Details

• Emergency Department setting with 67 beds and 225 staff
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment
• Weekends and on-call as needed
• Works alongside a charge nurse, supervisor, techs, and CNAs

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and CPI
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• No employment gaps of 90+ days or more in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Must be flexible to handle ever-changing ER acuity and census
• Navy scrubs required with no visible tattoos
• Hair longer than shoulder length must be pulled back
• No gel or acrylic nails permitted
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Local candidates will not be considered
