Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring at least 2 years of ED experience and 2 completed travel contracts.

• Emergency Department setting with 29 beds plus 8 hallway beds
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Night shift schedule, 7p-7a
• No call requirements
• No floating required
• Scrub color: navy
• EMR: Cerner

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or compact) required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• ESI Level 5 training required
• TNCC certification preferred
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent ED experience required
• At least 2 previously completed travel assignments required
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of assignment start
• No employment gaps of 90+ days or more within the past 12 months
• Valid driver's license and US SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsible for full nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of ED patients
• Directs and coordinates nursing care based on established clinical practice standards
• Collaborates with other disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery
• Delegates patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
• Provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel
• Coverage required for one major and one minor holiday
• RTO requests must be less than one week
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify
• Previous CHS perm staff employees not eligible if worked within the past 2 years
