Description

American Traveler is hiring a PCU Float RN with 2 years of experience and strong clinical background to support progressive care and overflow units on night shifts.

Details

• Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with floating to overflow units and ED holds
• Night shift schedule (3x12 or 4x12 hours, 19:00-7:00)
• Scheduled 84 hours biweekly with a 72 hour guarantee
• Must be agreeable to a 36/48 alternating schedule

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Strong PCU/MS-Tele/Stepdown or ER holding experience preferred
• EPIC charting experience preferred

Additional Information

• Supports PCU overflow and ED holding patients as needed
• Facility conducts its own onsite drug screen including marijuana testing, with positive results resulting in automatic cancellation
• Candidates should avoid any substances, including CBD products, that could result in a positive drug screen
• RTO spanning all holidays will not be accepted
• Must reside outside a 50 mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
• First-time travelers are not preferred for this role
