Description
American Traveler seeks an experienced Operating Room RN with recent specialty experience to work in a high-volume inpatient surgical unit.
Details
- Inpatient surgical unit staffed 24/7 handling 28-55 cases per day
- Service lines include Ortho, Neuro, Urology, General, and Thoracic surgery
- Facility utilizes 3 XI Robots for General, Urology, and Thoracic cases
- 10-hour day shifts, 4 shifts per week, with schedule varying between 7a-5p
- Deferred schedule type
Requirements
- Active RN license required if applicable
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in OR/Surgery specialty
- AHA BLS certification required
- AHA ACLS certification required
Additional Information
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Does not accept local candidates within 50 miles of the facility
- Returning staff who previously worked as permanent employees must have a 2-year break before returning as travelers
- RTO must be requested upfront and cannot be requested after offer acceptance
- First-time travelers may be considered
