Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a Nursing Float Pool position requiring active NH or compact RN license and 1-2 years of Med/Surg experience.
Details
- Nursing Float Pool unit within a hospital setting
- Med/Surg and Telemetry patient population
- 12-hour night shifts, 4 shifts per week
- May be required to float to nearby facilities on an emergency basis
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active NH or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
- 1-2 years minimum Med/Surg experience required
- Critical Care RN experience considered if fluent with Med/Surg ratios and acuity
- Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
- Current driver's license with address matching demographics required
- NURSYS report for license verification required
- RTO must be submitted at time of consideration
- 3 professional references required once committed, including 2 from leadership
Additional Information
- Provide Med/Surg and Telemetry nursing care within a float pool structure
- Weekly orientation provided
- Accepts local candidates within a 50-mile radius at a local rate
- Former permanent staff may return as a traveler after a 12-month break in service
