Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 2+ years of experience and GA or compact RN licensure.

Details

Labor & Delivery unit setting
Night shift, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Every other weekend required
On-call requirement of one 12-hour shift per schedule
Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed

Requirements

Active GA or Compact RN license required
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP (AWHONN Intermediate preferred)
Experience in Labor and Delivery management required
Experience circulating for C-sections required

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome to apply for this unit
Provide comprehensive labor and delivery nursing care including circulating for C-sections
Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract
Holiday coverage required based on number of major holidays falling within the assignment period (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day)
Full compliance required prior to start date to avoid scheduling delays
Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
Previous permanent, PRN, or internal staff must be away from all facility locations for one full year before returning as a traveler
Travelers who were cancelled or deemed unable to return must complete one assignment at another facility before reapplying
