Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring NY licensure and Epic charting experience.

Details

• Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a hospital setting
• Performs vascular studies and procedures including angioplasty, carotid stenting, and upper and lower extremity angiography
• Day shift schedule combining two 8-hour and two 10-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
• On-call required one weekend every 4-week block plus 2-3 weekdays
• Must be able to arrive within 30 minutes when called in
• One holiday on-call shift required
• Floating required

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required in hand
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Neurointerventional experience is a plus
• Skilled in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Experience with pressure ulcer assessment and prevention
• Proficient in sheath removal and monitoring
• Experience with vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose)
• Knowledgeable in radiation and laser safety practices
• Familiarity with the Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale

• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be considered
