Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level 3 NICU position requiring NRP and BLS certifications along with a compact or MD RN license.
Details
- Level 3 NICU setting within an acute care hospital
- Patient ratio of 1:2
- Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 6:45 to 18:45
- Every other weekend (EOW) requirement
- Floating required within scope to Pediatrics and Well Baby Nursery
- Uses Cerner charting system
Requirements
- Active RN license (Compact or Maryland) currently in hand, pending licenses not accepted
- Current certifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Minimum 2 years of NICU nursing experience required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal intensive care patients
- Facility enforces a strict no-tobacco policy, including testing for nicotine and cotinine
- Royal blue scrub color required
- Limited to 1 RTO request during assignment
- Local candidates accepted
- First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
