Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring at least 2 years of experience and prior travel nursing experience.

Details

• Medical Surgical unit setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 or 4x12 hours from 19:00-7:00
• Scheduled for 84 hours biweekly with a 72 hour guarantee
• Must be willing to float between Med/Surg units

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic charting experience strongly preferred
• NIHSS certification and Nursys verification required for consideration
• License must be in hand prior to start

Additional Information

• Candidates must complete required lab work within 72 hours of accepting an offer or have a completion plan in place
• Facility conducts its own onsite drug screen, including marijuana testing, with a positive result resulting in automatic cancellation
• Candidates should avoid any products, including CBD, that could result in a positive drug screen
• Must reside within 50 miles of the facility; local candidates are not accepted for this position
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted prior to accepting an offer
• Orientation includes required training modules, averaging 2-3 hours, completed via Oracle
