Description
American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a day shift hospital role requiring RRT registration and NY State licensure.
Details
- 8-week contract assignment
- Day shift, 7a-7p
- 12-hour shifts, 3 per week
- Uses Meditech EMR
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA accredited school for Respiratory Care
- NY State license required, if applicable
- RRT registration by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- BLS and ACLS required, NRP and PALS preferred
- Knowledge of acid/base/electrolyte relationships and implications of life threatening situations
- Able to establish patient ventilator settings using metric measurements and advanced principles of volume, flow, and pressure relationships

- 75-mile radius rule applies, local candidates not accepted
- Two professional references required from a Charge RN, Supervisor, or Manager within the past year and relevant specialty
