Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Operating Room position requiring an active MA RN license and Epic charting experience.

Details

• Work in the 6th Floor Surgical Suites unit of a hospital setting
• 13-week assignment with a scheduled shift of 08:00-20:30
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required; conditional or pending licenses not accepted
• BLS certification required (AHA preferred; Red Cross accepted at most locations, AHA only at Salem)
• Primary source license verification required via NURSYS and BON within 30 days of start
• Epic EMR charting experience

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care within the operating room setting, including patient assessment, care planning, and intervention
• Document patient response to treatment and communicate clinical status during rounds and shift changes
• Participate in medication administration using BMV scanning and point of care testing
• Demonstrate leadership in patient care coordination and emergency response situations
• Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates may be considered if residing within 60 miles of Boston, MA, at a reduced rate
• Parking not validated at Boston locations; public transportation or paid lots required
