Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a night shift position requiring prior travel experience and a minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
Details
- Medical Surgical unit (Med Surg A4)
- Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15
- 13-week assignment length
- Floating within the hospital required as needed
Requirements
- Active LA state or compact RN license required at time of consideration
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Experience with IV therapy/phlebotomy and starting/maintaining IVs required
- One professional reference required
Additional Information
- Orientation includes a virtual first day followed by two on-site days with additional EMR training
- Must disclose any license disciplinary actions at time of consideration
- Candidates with recent professional cancellations will undergo additional review prior to consideration
- Former employees must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Holiday RTO requests should be kept to a minimum
- Local candidates are not accepted and permanent residence must be greater than 50 miles from the facility
