Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring MA RN licensure and at least 2 years of relevant experience on a night shift schedule.
Details
- Mixed Medical/Surgical/Telemetry unit caring for adult patients
- 43-bed unit with expected patient ratio of 1:5
- Patient population includes CHF, pneumonia, chest pain, COPD, alcohol use disorder, GI bleed, bowel obstructions, and post-op patients
- Night shift schedule: 3x12s, 36 hours per week (19:00-07:30)
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Cardiac Dysrhythmia trained
- 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience preferred
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care to a mixed medical/surgical/telemetry adult patient population

No transport at night, short staff, very few intensive providers, small ICU = very few beds. Tons of admits at night. No IV team
