Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring Meditech experience and a TN or compact RN license.

Details

• Work on a 44-bed Medical Surgical unit within a Level II trauma acute care hospital
• Serves patients of all ages
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Uses Meditech EHR
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• As-needed floating required
• On-call required on an as-needed basis with arrival to the facility required within 30 minutes to 1 hour if called in

Requirements

• Active RN license (TN or compact) required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Meditech EHR experience required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care on a busy Med/Surg unit serving a wide range of diagnoses
• Professional demeanor expected on the unit
• Scrubs of any color accepted, but casual wear and hoodies are not permitted
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
