Description

American Traveler is hiring a Float RN for Nights with Med-Surg and Emergency Department experience, requiring an active AK RN license and prior Med-Surg experience.

Details

• Float position primarily on the Med-Surg floor with possible Emergency Department coverage as needed
• Night shift schedule, 545p-615a
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active AK RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• TNCC certification preferred
• Med-Surg nursing experience required

Additional Information

• Provides nursing care on the Med-Surg floor with potential floating to the Emergency Department
• Housing is provided and paid for, located within a half mile of the hospital with access to town amenities
• Housing may be shared or private depending on availability, and pets are not allowed
• Located in Cordova, Alaska, a small fishing community with hiking trails, a small ski hill, fishing opportunities, and an active winter community
• Daily Alaska Air flights service the area
• Mild winters with rain at sea level and snow at higher elevations, with typical temperatures in the 20s and 30s
