Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a night shift Floor/ICU/ER position requiring ICU and ED experience.

Details

• Work in a hospital Respiratory Care unit on the 2nd floor of the main hospital building
• Staffing includes 1 charge and 1-2 RTs per shift
• Patient ratios vary depending on daily census
• Equipment used includes Avea, V60, Airvo, and Radiometer ABL90
• Meditech EMR used
• Night shift hours from 7PM to 7AM
• Every other weekend required with no on-call requirement

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty
• ICU and ED experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required, PALS preferred
• License required if applicable
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required for Florida and Missouri)

Additional Information

• Perform routine respiratory care duties across floor, ICU, and ER settings
• Black scrub attire required
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
