Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a Level II Trauma Center with required trauma experience and a CT or compact RN license.

Details

• Operating Room unit in a short-term acute care hospital with 426 staffed beds
• Level II Trauma Center setting
• Evening shift schedule (5x8 hours, 1500-2330)
• Holiday and weekend rotation required as needed
• Call required
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Active CT or compact RN license required prior to start
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of OR experience required, 5 years preferred
• Trauma experience required, including Level I and Level II Trauma experience
• Prior travel experience required with a minimum of 3 assignments in Level I Trauma or high trauma settings
• Epic charting experience required
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• 1 professional reference required

• Perform surgical nursing duties across a broad range of specialties including vascular, gynecology, orthopedic, trauma, and robotic surgeries
• Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted

• Candidates must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the hospital to be considered
• Former staff employees must have been separated from the facility for at least 2 years to be eligible as a traveler
• Up to 7 days of RTO can be auto-approved
