Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with Level 3 trauma experience and ARRT-MR certification for a 186-bed Magnet teaching hospital.

Details

• 186-bed Magnet-designated teaching hospital setting
• MRI department supporting adult and pediatric acute care, ICU, ER/trauma, and outpatient populations
• Assists with breast patient imaging and positioning
• GE MRI equipment used
• Epic EMR required
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
• Potential for on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years recent hospital experience required (per diem experience not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years GE equipment experience required
• Level 3 trauma experience required
• ARRT-MR certification required (ARMRIT certification alone not accepted)
• ARRT-R certification preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Skilled in abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal MRI studies
• Experience with special imaging procedures including CINE, diffusion imaging, and post-processing techniques preferred
• Proficient in isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media administration, and peripheral IV starts
• 1 professional reference required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Navy scrubs required
• Free parking available in unrestricted spaces
• Maximum RTO of 7 days with willingness to add time to end of assignment if needed
• Candidates must be willing to communicate any vacation plans prior to start date
• Local candidates not accepted within 75 miles of facility
• Former staff must have been separated for 2 years to be eligible as a traveler
• Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted
• COVID vaccine and booster required with exemptions only for religious/medical reasons
