Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift position requiring critical care skills in sepsis, shock, and vent/trach management, plus an active IL RN license.
Details
- Work in a 14-bed ICU treating adult patients age 16 and up
- Patient population includes sepsis, shock, DKA, AKI, vascular cases, strokes, and vent/trach patients
- Uses specialized equipment including Impella, IABP, and CRRT (Prismax)
- Night shift schedule with 10-hour shifts, 4 shifts per week
- May float to PCU or Med/Surg within scope
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active IL RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA certifications only)
- CCRN certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
- Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred
- 2 professional references from similar experience (1-2 years) required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide critical care nursing to complex ICU patients requiring advanced monitoring and intervention
- Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility with no exceptions
- RTO must be submitted with candidate profile for consideration
