Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a community hospital cardiac cath lab with at least 1 year of experience, open to first-time travelers.

Details

Community hospital cardiac cath lab setting
Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
May float to similar units within scope of practice as needed
Performs cardiac cath lab procedures including left/right heart catheterization, PCI, PTCA, stent placement, Impella insertion, rotablator atherectomy, temporary pacemaker, TAVR, and Watchman
Performs EP studies including cardiac ablation, AICD insertion/programming, pacemaker insertion, and LAA closure
Performs venous access, central venous access, port accessing/management, and EKG lead placement

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience in a cath lab setting
Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (R) or CCI RCIS
Kansas state license required if ARRT certified
License required if applicable
EPIC charting experience preferred
Community hospital experience required

Additional Information

First-time travelers will be considered
Former staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates not accepted
Receives brief orientation when floating to other units
