Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Telemetry/Medical-Surgical unit position requiring Epic EMR experience and night shift availability.

Details

Cardiac Telemetry/Medical-Surgical unit setting within a hospital
NOC shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

Active GA or Compact RN license required in hand
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
Minimum of 18 months of recent nursing experience required
Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

Provide telemetry and medical-surgical nursing care to cardiac patients
Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted
Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days if it does, with only 1 holiday request allowed
