Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a long-term night shift assignment caring for patients ranging from newborns to geriatrics.
Details
- Pulmonary unit setting at a hospital
- Provides respiratory care to patients across the lifespan, from newborns through geriatrics
- Includes critical care and general patient care assignments
- Night shift schedule, 3x12s, 36 hours per week
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Graduate of a CAHEA approved training program in respiratory care
- Current license to practice respiratory care as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in North Carolina (license required if applicable)
- RRT certification or eligible to sit for exam
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Two professional references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years
Additional Information
- Responsible for practicing respiratory care within the scope of the North Carolina Respiratory Care Practice Act
- Duties are predominantly predictable in nature
