Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a rotating day/night inpatient orthopedic/urology surgical unit requiring Level 1 trauma and prior travel experience.
Details
- 36-bed adult inpatient orthopedic/urology/surgery unit
- Patient population includes orthopedic and urologic patients who are post-surgical and pre-surgical from the ED, front door, or clinical admissions
- 13-week assignment with day/night rotating shifts, 36 hours per week
- Uses Epic charting system
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required; no pending or conditional licenses accepted
- BLS certification required (AHA preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
- Minimum 2 years of Level 1 trauma experience required
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
- Primary source verification of license/certification required within 30 days of start date
- Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
Additional Information
- Care for post-surgical and pre-surgical orthopedic and urologic patients
- Local candidates accepted with permanent residence within 60 miles of Boston, subject to a reduced rate
- Two professional references required for consideration
- RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration
