Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for an acute care hospital, requiring 2+ years experience and OR/C-arm proficiency.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting in the General X-Ray department
• Department has 3 XR rooms and 5 portable units
• Performs OR, portable, and outpatient imaging exams
• Average of 20-30 exams per day
• May float to Pain Clinic as needed
• Uses Epic EMR and PACS imaging system
• Equipment includes Siemens imaging rooms, Shimadzu and Carestream portables
• Night shift schedule, Friday-Sunday 7pm-7am, 12-hour shifts
• Call/standby requirement

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• ARRT (R) certification required
• OR/C-arm experience required
• License required if applicable
• Driver's license copy required for consideration

Additional Information

• Radiologist in-house (IR/PA)
• No RRAs used in this department
• No IV starts required for this role
• No weekend or holiday requirements beyond standard schedule, though Memorial Day coverage may be requested
• Scrubs provided in royal blue or OR scrubs
• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility
• First-time travelers will be considered
