Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for an acute care hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT/BLS certification for a 13-week night shift contract.
Details
- Acute care hospital radiology department with 5 rooms/scanners
- Performs XR and OR (C-arm) fluoroscopy studies
- Average of 400 scans/studies per day
- Uses Epic EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS
- Department equipment includes Toshiba Rad Rooms, Carestream portables, and OEC C-arms
- Radiologists in-house 24/7 with residents
- No float requirement to other areas
- 3x12 hour night shifts
- Weekend and possible holiday requirements
- No call or standby requirement
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- ARRT and BLS certification required
- WV state license required if applicable
- Experience with C-arm and fluoroscopy required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Unexpired driver's license required for consideration

- Radiation badge provided by staffing agency, not facility
- Does not require starting IVs
- No RRAs used in this department
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
- Previous perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as travelers
- Previous travelers who completed a full year must take a 2-year break before returning
- Cumulative experience across WVU system applies toward the 1-year travel limit
