Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg/Tele Float Pool position requiring acute care and telemetry experience across multiple units.

Details

• Float pool position covering 5 different Med/Surg/Tele units
• 12-hour night shifts, 7p-7:30a, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Uses Meditech IV system and EPIC EMR
• No extended RTO available, most Fridays required, no specific schedule requests accommodated

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required at time of consideration
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• 2+ years of recent acute care experience required
• Experience with Meditech IVs and telemetry required
• Must be able to independently read telemetry strips
• 3-5 years of previous float experience preferred
• Must be adaptable to working across multiple Med/Surg/Tele units
• Must pass on-site telemetry exam on Day 1 with 84% or better (2 attempts allowed)

• Floats across multiple Med/Surg/Tele units requiring quick adaptability
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are considered local
• Driver's license required and cannot be expired
