Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a float pool night shift role requiring at least 1 year of experience and prior travel assignment history.
Details
- Float pool position supporting Medsurg units
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Night shift, 4x12 hours, 19:00-7:30
- 36 or 48 hour weekly shift options available
- Every other weekend coverage required
- Uses Omnicell medication system and Cerner documentation system
- SBAR communication system utilized
Requirements
- Active CT or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Experience with blood product administration
- Experience with peripheral line care and management
- Experience with PICC line management
- Experience starting and maintaining IVs
- Experience with nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management
- Experience with isolation precautions and PPE protocols
- Charting system experience required (any system)
- References required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care across Medsurg units as part of a float pool team
- Candidates within 75 miles are considered local for this position
