Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with fluoroscopy imaging experience for a pain management center performing fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided procedures.
Details
- Work in a pain management center providing fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided procedures
- 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM shift schedule
- 26-week assignment length
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Radiology Technologist
- Fluoroscopy imaging experience required
- Active MA license required at time of consideration; no pending license accepted
- License required if applicable
- Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
Additional Information
- Determine appropriate radiographic technique based on patient anatomy and condition to produce quality diagnostic images
- Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures including transporting, transferring, immobilizing, and positioning
- Explain procedures to patients considering their physical and emotional needs
- Record digital images for radiologist interpretation and maintain pertinent records
- Provide radiation protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards
- May assist radiology technologist students and new staff with exams, sterile technique, and supply stocking
- Local candidates accepted with permanent residence within 60 miles of Boston, MA, at a reduced rate
