Description
American Traveler is hiring a night-shift RN for a Special Newborn Nursery position requiring NRP certification and SCN/NICU experience.
Details
- Level III trauma acute care hospital setting
- Special Newborn Nursery unit with 8 Level II SCN beds
- Approximately 800 births per year
- 24/7 NNP and Neonatology availability
- 12-hour night shifts (1800-0630 and 0600-1830)
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 13-week assignment length
- Uses Allscripts EMR
Requirements
- Active AZ or Compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- 2+ years of SCN/NICU experience preferred
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- STABLE certification required
- BSN not required
Additional Information
- Provide specialized nursing care to newborns in the Special Newborn Nursery
- 8 hours of orientation provided
- Cancellation policy allows up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment
