Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with 3+ years acute hospital experience and ARDMS (AB)(OB)(RVT) certification.

Details

• Diagnostic imaging department performing general ultrasound and vascular studies
• Variable 40-hour shift schedule with call as needed
• Floating to other units/departments may be required
• Performs abdomen, GYN, OB, neonatal, superficial structure, and vascular ultrasound studies
• Procedures include aspirations, biopsies, drainage, and intraoperative ultrasound
• Uses Canon i700 ultrasound equipment, Meditech EMR, and Fuji Synapse PACS

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience as a full-time sonographer in an acute hospital setting
• At least one prior travel contract preferred
• ARDMS certification in Abdomen (AB), OB/GYN (OB), and Vascular Technology (RVT) required
• Current BLS certification through AHA required
• State license required if applicable
• Must be competent in abdominal, GYN, OB, neonatal, superficial structure, and vascular ultrasound procedures

Additional Information

• Must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to assignment start for onboarding
• No RTO granted during the first 13 weeks of the contract
• Personal scrubs and professional healthcare attire required
