Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an ICU position requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of specialty experience.

Details

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting
• Schedule is 3x12-hour day shifts, 0700-1930
• Weekend shifts required
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active RN license - CO or Compact required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA) that will not expire before start date
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, including health teaching and counseling
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans, and refer patients as needed
• Former permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this assignment
