Description

American Traveler is seeking an Emergency Dept RN with 2+ years of experience and ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification for a 13-week night shift assignment.

Details

• Work in a 15-room ER plus rapid medical evaluation (RME) space seeing approximately 100 patients per day
• Hospital includes a 13-bed ICU, MS, PCU, Acute Rehab, and Level 2 OB units
• Supported by 24/7 respiratory therapy, ER providers, and hospitalist team
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN or Compact) required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience required
• TNCC and NIH Stroke Scale certifications preferred
• Ascension Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI) training preferred
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Driver's license copy required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct care to emergency department patients
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Candidates may only apply to one Ascension position system-wide
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate
• Local candidates accepted
• Travelers should discuss extension opportunities with their manager at least 45 days before assignment end date
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required
