Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/EP position requiring strip interpretation skills and on-call availability.
Details
- Cath Lab/EP unit performing approximately 8 cases per day
- Uses EPIC EMR and Maclab systems
- Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- No float requirement
- Weekend coverage handled via on-call rotation only
- On-call responsibilities average one weekday night per week and one weekend per month, with a 30-minute response time
- Call rotation every 3rd week and weekend
- Holiday coverage consists of 1 major or 2 minor holidays, covered by on-call
Requirements
- Active VA or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification (must be AHA) and ACLS required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required
- Must be able to read and interpret cardiac strips
- Epic EMR access/experience required
Additional Information
- Floor orientation lasts 1 week
- Maroon scrubs are provided
- Must reside within a 50-mile radius; local candidates accepted at a lower rate
- Previous permanent employees may return 12 months after their last shift worked
