Description

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a 13-week assignment requiring 18 months of tele experience and an active GA or compact RN license.

Details

Pulmonary telemetry unit setting
3x12 AM shifts, 36 hours per week
No on-call requirements
Uses Meditech charting system

Requirements

Active GA or compact RN license required in hand
1.5+ years of nursing experience, including 18 months of telemetry experience
Current BLS certification (AHA) required to start
Experience with IV insertion and PICC lines required
EPIC EMR experience required and must be reflected in work history

Additional Information

Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible, as local candidates are not accepted
Former Emory or Houston Perm Staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
RTO requests not falling on or near a holiday are limited to a maximum of 5 days
RTO requests falling on or near a holiday are limited to a maximum of 3 days
Only one holiday RTO request is allowed per assignment
