Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele Float position requiring MD or compact RN license and prior travel assignment experience.
Details
- Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule of 3x12 hours from 7:00 to 19:30
- Float RN role requiring floating within skillset and acuity level
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage as needed
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active RN license (MD or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience required
- At least 1 completed travel assignment required
- Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and 100% on lethal rhythms
Additional Information
- Flu vaccine required for all employees
- Locals within 60 miles accepted at a reduced rate
