Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN with ortho unit experience and cardiac drip proficiency for a 13-week day shift assignment.
Details
- Medical Surgical unit with an ortho focus, including MS/telemetry overflow
- Patient ratios of 1:6-7
- Day shift schedule, 3x12 or 4x12 hours, 0700-1930
- Block scheduling may be accommodated
Requirements
- Active AL or compact RN license required, pending license applications accepted
- BLS and NIHSS certifications required, ACLS preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- Must be proficient in administering cardiac drips including cardizem, tridil, and amiodarone
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Must reside outside a 90-mile radius of the facility, no local candidates accepted
- Previous permanent staff are ineligible for travel assignments for 10 years
- Navy blue scrubs required
