Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week assignment requiring a TX or compact RN license and a minimum of three years critical care experience.

Details

• Work in a combined medical, surgical, and cardiovascular ICU
• Patient population includes TAVR, CABG, CVA, respiratory distress, TNK, GIB, DKA, CEA, sepsis, fem pop, thoracotomy, vent management, HFNC, TTM, IABP, Impella, CRRT, STEMI, HF, hypoxic, respiratory failure, CHF, and pneumonia cases
• Shift runs 06:45-19:15
• 13-week assignment length
• Float required between ICU and Step Down within the critical care service line

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification through AHA required
• Minimum of three years ICU experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to complex medical, surgical, and cardiovascular ICU patients
• Must have a US Social Security Number and US home address
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on facility location
• COVID vaccination is not required
